Volunteer

Volunteer schemes run by my office help protect vulnerable people and ensure professionalism in Dyfed-Powys Police.

They give you confidence that standards and rights are protected – and they offer superb opportunities if you’d like to help the community with your skill or time. Training is given and expenses offered.

The schemes focus on the quality of police contact with the public, the treatment of detainees in police cells and the welfare of police dogs.

The Chief Constable and I benefit from the thoughts of a group which offers us independent advice on a range of issues.

If you’d like to volunteer please contact my office. We’d love to hear from you!

We are currently looking to recruit more Independent Custody Visitors, please click here  for more information.

Dyfed-Powys Police are also looking for volunteers – Police Support Volunteers and Special Constables.
