Please come and meet me at a public event. I want to hear your thoughts on local crime and policing.
Police and Crime Commissioner's Eighth Annual St Davids Day Conference
Friday, 1st of March 2024
This year, Dyfed-Powys Police and Crime Commissioner, Dafydd Llywelyn's annual St Davids Day Conference will focus on recognising vulnerability in offenders as this is essential for developing a more nuanced and effective approach to criminal justice.
The Conference will provide an insight into how a range of organisations and support services work to understand an offender’s vulnerabilities; how they identify situations where offenders may be at risk of victimisation within the criminal justice system; and how they support in putting appropriate safeguards in place to protect vulnerable individuals from harm.
In his Police and Crime Plan for Dyfed-Powys, Police and Crime Commissioner Dafydd Llywelyn highlights supporting those at risk of offending or reoffending due to their vulnerabilities.
The Conference will shine a light on the important challenge we face and opportunities available in recognising vulnerabilities in offenders.
