The Supportive Scrutiny Handbook was established to be flexible and responsive to current trends and community feedback. Being in constant communication with the Force and having access to live performance data places the OPCC in a unique position to be able to support the Force’s improvements.
The OPCC’s activity is targeted to compliment the work of internal audit, continuous improvement, Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire & Rescue Services, as well as other regulators.
