This is a statutory role required by the Police Reform and Social Responsibility Act 2011.

The Chief Executive is responsible for the efficient and effective running of the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner, and as Monitoring Officer provides advice on strategic matters to the Police & Crime Commissioner, in support of his compliance with legislation and appropriate standards.

 

Salary Band: £79,344 - £84,690 (FTE)

 

What do you find most enjoyable about your role?

Working alongside Dyfed-Powys Police and a variety of partners in support of the delivery of a vital public service in my local area.

How long have you been in post?

The Police and Crime Panel supported my appointment into the role in June 2013.

What did you do before joining the Commissioner’s Team?

I was the Assistant Chief Executive of the Dyfed-Powys Police Authority. Prior to that I worked in the Force in corporate support roles.
