Police and Crime Commissioner Dafydd Llywelyn is launching a new Community Scrutiny Panel and is inviting members of the public to get involved.

The first panel will take place in Aberystwyth on:
📅 25 February
🕓4-7pm
📍Marine Hotel, Marine Terrace, Aberystwyth, Ceredigion, SY23 2DA

Panel members will independently review police contact with the public in a transparent and impartial way. Volunteers will scrutinise the quality of police interactions, the ethical use of police powers and the service being delivered to communities.

The panel acts as an independent public voice, providing views and recommendations to Dyfed-Powys Police to help strengthen transparency, accountability and the public confidence in policing.

This is an opportunity to:

  • Get involved in independent police scrutiny
  • Help influence improvements in police practice
  • Gain real life skills and experience
  • Represent the views of the public

No previous experience is required. Training and guidance will be provided.
