New Community Messaging System Launched across the Dyfed-Powys area

Police and Crime Commissioner Dafydd Llywelyn has welcomed the launch of the new community messaging system-Dyfed-Powys Connects, which is now live across the Dyfed-Powys area.
The system, will provide people living and working in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire, and Powys with the opportunity to stay informed and engaged with what is happening in their local communities.
Dyfed-Powys connects is more than just a messaging platform. Landing directly into people’s inboxes, it will provide updates on local policing matters, community events, crime prevention advice and more. Users can choose what information they receive, when they receive it and can interact by replying directly to alerts, completing surveys, or sharing concerns.
Police and Crime Commissioner Dafydd Llywelyn said:
“I am pleased to have supported the launch of Dyfed-Powys Connects, which will be an important tool for building stronger links between communities, the police, and partners across the area. It is vital that people stay informed, involved and able to have their say on local issues and this system offers a modern and accessible way of doing just that.”
As well as supporting community engagement the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner will now be using the system to share updates with partners, stakeholders and members of the public. Anyone who signs up can also opt in to receive regular updates directly from the OPCC, including news about projects, consultations and opportunities to get involved.
