We are Recruiting for Independent Custody Visitors!
Do you live or work within the Dyfed Powys area? We're looking for talented, enthusiastic people to join us as Independent Custody Visitors.
The criteria for suitable applicants to become an Independent Custody Visitors can be found within appendix A of the terms of reference here: ICV ToR

Independent Custody Visitors (ICVs)
These volunteers visit police custody areas to check on the wellbeing of detainees and to ensure that their rights are upheld. They visit a local police station in pairs, unannounced, at any time of the day or night and provide an independent check on the welfare of the detainees in Custody, and the conditions in which they are being held.
Issues raised by volunteers are considered by Police Inspectors and updates are provided to me. The volunteers’ work offers protection to detainees and transparency of detention processes.
