Background

CoPaCC, the police governance experts first reviewed Police and Crime Commissioners' (PCC) ability to meet their statutory transparency responsibilties one year after the first PCC elections.

Since then, 26 OPCC's have been awareded the Transparency Quality Mark, a sign of high-quality standards in relation to transparency of governance structures and information publishing.

In September of this year, the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Dyfed-Powys will submit an application to CoPaCC for recognition of transparency.
