Today (20 November 2023), Police and Crime Commissioner Dafydd Llywelyn was in Pembrokeshire for a Community Engagement Day.

During the day, PCC Dafydd Llywelyn visited Milford Haven’s new Police Station at Cedar Court before going out on foot patrol around Milford with PCSOs from the local Neighbourhood Team.

In the afternoon the PCC was again out on foot patrol in Haverfordwest with the local PCSOs engaging with residents and businesses in the town, which included a visit to the VC Gallery.

The VC Gallery is a charity run by Barry John MBE, and provides a creative environment for servicing, ex-services and the local community, with the aim of engaging people of all ages and enhance their personal, social, and educational development.

With it being Road Safety Week this week, as part of his Community Engagement Day in Pembrokeshire , PCC Llywelyn also received a briefing on some of the activity that the Dyfed-Powys Police Roads Policing Unit will be involved in during the week to keep our roads safe.

Police and Crime Commissioner Dafydd Llywelyn said: “It was great to be in Milford Haven and Haverfordwest today, listening and seeing how our dedicated PCSOs are strengthening our relationships with the public.

“Voluntary organisations and charities such as the VC Gallery provide our communities with valuable resources that can have a positive impact on people’s lives and their future”.
